Art, writing & curating formed my early work. Design, research & strategy followed - building on the former, and integrating all together. Meaningful creative problem-solving is the consistent through-line, and I continue evolving and iterating my work.
Each of my practices informs and strengthens the others. Working with my hands and the unpredictable nature of clay is a great teacher for navigating tough strategy challenges. And I bring an observant, curious, research mindset to all new materials & processes.
Elsewhere in life - balance of culture and nature is my ideal. I’m at my best when: exploring outdoors with my sweet dog; seeking out new art, design or food; and listening to perspective-shifting podcasts. I also love music (worked at a record store for many years) - and am always on the hunt for what’s new & interesting.
+ A wonderful case by David Whyte for designing considered objects & experiences,
and how we are all connected.
